Delivered to you in perfect condition
To ensure that your order reaches you in perfect condition, chilled goods
are sent in a sealed thermo container (reusable) with ice packs. Frozen foods
are sent in a thermo container with dry-ice
. This is very best way to send frozen foods because there is absolutely no increase in temperature. Perfect food, perfectly delivered. As with all products packed with dry ice, please follow the instruction on the container. The protective packaging is for your saftey, hence please follow the instructions included in the packaging. We make no profit from our packaging/delivery costs. The delivery/postage charge
When you place your order the debit/credit used will be authorized, but not charged until your order has been dispatched. Sometimes, for security reasons, orders are placed 'on hold' because the card used has failed to meet the security check. Usually this is because of an error in address or card number, but we will phone you within 24hrs if this happens so as to confirm the details of the transaction. No monies are actually taken from your card until the order has been dispatched.
Alternatively if you wish to collect your items, you can come to our premises in New Covent Garden saving on packaging costs, if this is more convenient to you. Just phone 0845 643 9121 for details.
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an Order Dispatched confirmation email. This email is confirmation that you have been charged for the products that you have purchased from eFoodies and that your order has actually been dispatched to you. Once you have received your 'order dispatched' confirmation email, you can expect your order to normally arrive within 24 hours.
Tracking your order
For all deliveries (other than postal) your order can be tracked, by you, through the unique consignment number assigned to your package. All you need to do is phone us on 0845 643 9121 and we will you give you the consignment number and the relevant local depot telephone number. So if you then want to know the expected delivery time more accurately you can just phone up the depot and ask.
Receiving your order
You must ensure that there will be somebody to sign for your delivery at the delivery address that you specified, at the time you have requested. We cannot take responsibility for orders that are sent back to the delivery depot.Some multi-product
orders may be delivered by multiple deliveries.
Types of Delivery methods
Delivery by post: £6.50 NOTE: this delivery option is not for chilled or frozen goods
The delivery option for ambient products. Please note that we are unable to trace the postal orders as these are sent either via First or Second Class or Standard Parcel Postal options dependent on the weight of the parcel. In busier times such as the lead up to Christmas, we suggest that our customers opt for the fully traceable Next Day Delivery option to avoid any disappointment.
Postal Upgrade: Should you select the Postal service for items that are unsuitable for this option ie: when perishable items are ordered, your order will be upgraded to a Next Day delivery service. The additional cost will appear on your order as a Postal Upgrade for the price of £6.45. The increased cost ensures that items arrive to you in necessary time-frame and correct packaging making sure that they are in the optimum state on their arrival to you.
Normal Next Day Delivery: £12.95
Our Normal Delivery option means delivery of your order the following working day, as long as your order is placed before1pm between Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays). Orders for Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man/Wight or The Channel Islands will be charged at European Rates (£39.95) as the items must cross open water therefore incurring an extra courier charge.
Next Day Before 12pm: £17.95
If you wish for your order to arrive before 12pm the next working day, and you order has been placed before 12pm Monday - Thursday, please select this option at the delivery option page upon checkout.
Saturday deliveries (before 12pm and upto 5pm)
Orders received between 1pm on Thursday and 1pm on Friday can be delivered on Saturdays upto 5pm for a charge of £34.95. If requested, you can have the item delivered before 12pm for a charge of £39.95. The rates are set by the courier company.
Same Day (London only) delivery: £34.95
We can also courier the product to you within normal working hours (Usually within 1 hour for urgent orders) if you live within central London. Orders must be received by 1pm on the day the delivery is required (orders for this option can't be placed after 1pm on Fridays or during weekends and bank holidays). If this service is required and the order is to be sent to another destination (like a jet or yacht
) outside Central London, please call us for a quote.
Same Day (UK only)
Upon request we can arrange a Same-Day courier, or place you package on a bike/in a taxi. Please call fro more details.
For all orders outside the UK (within Europe), the order will be sent Economy Express and will take 1 - 2 days to arrive. Please call for more information.

. If you place your order after 12pm on a Thursday, or at any time on Friday, (or during the weekend), your order will be processed on the following Monday. And the target delivery day will be the following Tuesday. If you place your order after 12pm on Thursday and wish to receive your order before Tuesday, please select one of the Saturday delivery options.
Please ensure that the delivery address is clearly stated in the placed order and that you are at the delivery address to receive your order. Goods that are returned to depot because of you failure to receive them will be charged for. Care must be taken with the dry-ice
packaging for frozen foods, please follow the instructions on the packaging. All postage deliveries are non traceable
