Jamon Serrano, literally mountain ham, is salted, matured, and stored in the same way as Iberian ham, but the meat comes from a different breed of pig and has a shorter maturation period. Famed for its depth of flavour and luscious texture, it is valued as a gourmet ham in its own right.
Our Serrano ham comes from the Teruel region in Aragon and has been prepared in age-old fashion to ensure the very best quality of ham.
It is served in a similar style to the Italian Prosciutto di Parma and is delicious with asparagus.
