Sliced Serrano ham 500g
Jamon Serrano, literally mountain ham, salted, matured, and stored in the same way to Iberian ham but with a different breed of pig, a white one, and a shorter maturation period. Famed for it's depth of flavour and luscious texture, it is valued as a gourmet ham in it's own right.
Our Serrano ham comes from the Teruel region in Aragon and has been prepared in age-old tradition to ensure the very best quality of ham. It is served in a similar style to the Italian Prosciutto, wafer thin slices that drape the plate in mouthwatering folds of dusky pink covered lightly with a ribbon of fat.
Delicious with asparagus.
